Happy Independence Day!!

The Bible says in Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance.” What do you think? Is America blessed? Our answer is YES, YES, YES!! Americans have the freedom to choose where they want to work, live, worship God, what they want to do for entertainment. America was founded on the Bible. Our fore fathers knew that God would provide for us, if we would follow Him and His Word. They gave up all they had to have freedom from the king of England. Even to the point of death!! Even though the Colonial Army was small, they knew with the help of the Almighty God, they could overcome the Red Coats! President George Washington is someone we think was a very wise man, not because of what he did, but how he did it. President Washington went to the Lord God when in a tough situation. He knew that God knew the way it would end, and so who better to ask for directions from, then the One with the perfect answer!!   : )

   And so we leave you with this thought… “the bombs bursting in air...gave proof through the night that our flag was still there… oh say, does that star spangled banner yet wave...o’er the land of the free… and the home of the brave!!”

      When you see fireworks bursting in the air give a prayer of thanks to God for those serving and giving their lives right now. So we can continue to have this freedom we know we all take for granted.
